Total Comfort Solution was established in 1997 by motel developer Rod Shaw. His mission was to provide an affordable, efficient, and quiet alternative to the traditional “window shakers” found in most motel and multi dwelling units. Rod then worked with architects, engineers, utility companies, equipment manufacturers, and others in the HVAC industry to put together a suite of products that addressed the significant disadvantages of traditional PTAC (Packaged Terminal Air Conditioning) and VTAC (Vertical Terminal Air Conditioning) equipment. One of the first projects he undertook was awarded as one of the top three energy efficient buildings in Canada.
The process was slow, as is often the case of a disruptive technology entering a very traditional marketplace. But Rod continued to press forward and currently there are hundreds of projects across North America using the TCS system. Critical mass is no longer a concern and with over two decades of providing IPS™ (Integrated Piping System) it is exciting to work in such a fast moving industry. TCS boasts a full line of fancoils and its online catalogue, with dozens of photos, schematics and other resources, provides its customers with ease of ordering and support. The company continues to work with industry professionals to provide the latest in technology and equipment to our partners and their clients.
Our goal is provide industry partners with the most efficient and cost effective solutions. We strive to provide exceptional service and support with a dedicated network of manufacturers’ reps across North America and beyond.
